What to Expect From the Program

For eligible partners that have done the ground work in advance and come to the table with clear decisions in place, our divorce experts will draft the paperwork needed to file with the court. Our program participants can expect:

• one 15 minute phone call to determine your eligibility
• one 60-120-minute in-person or virtual document gathering session
• one 15-30-minute virtual Memorandum of Understanding review session
• one 90-minute in-person signing meeting with our in-house attorney

When Traditional Divorce Mediation May Be a Better Fit

Clients who need to talk through part of their decision making process are NOT eligible to participate in this program and will be placed with a seasoned mediator who can answer questions and provide compassionate support. We reserve the right to refer clients from the Self-Made Separation Program to traditional mediation when needed.
